Steps Challenge

Each Sunday we run the Scammonden steps challenge, this is a great opportunity to experience personal achievement, a positive mindset and to start the week ahead on the right foot. 

People of all fitness levels attend. Its an opportunity to spend time with supportive people while getting some quality exercise. 

If you would like to join us please do; we meet in the main Scammonden Water carpark, Huddersfield on Low Platt Lane at 9am.

After the steps we meet back at the wellness centre around 10:30 for a brew and a chat until 12:30.

Cheerful Tuesdays

Every Tuesday 10am until 7pm;


The wellness centre is open to everyone for a brew and a chat. Come along and meet like minded people and be part of the Get Fit Fam.

Running Club

Every Tuesday 7pm onwards.

Come get fit with our running club. We meet at the Hub and set off for a local run.

Suitable for all levels of fitness, Newcomers are always welcome.

Sound Baths

Come and immerse into the beautiful depths of sound frequency and vibrations of the bowls, gongs, drum and chimes to bring about deep healing and balance on an emotional, physical and spiritual level on Tuesday Evenings at 7pm.

Donation £5 goes to the running of the Hub and Charity.

Walk & Talk

Every Wednesday at 6pm.

Come meet at the Hub and set off for a local walk.

You are welcome to come along on your own or with your family, meet with others and enjoy a walk and a chat. 

The group brings together people who have an understanding of the difficulties that Mental ill health can have, with a focus on promoting mental wellness and supporting each other.

Body combat

Punch and kick your way to fitness with our Body Combat class 

Fridays 6-7pm

This training offers many great benefits:​

Training Courses

We are passionate about education and raising awareness. We offer a range of free training courses, including Suicide Awareness, Loss and Grief and Managing Anxiety.


We also run First Aid 4 Mental Health trainings at cost, for other organisations and individuals.

8 Week Programme

The unique 8-Week Mental Wellness Programme™ consists of psycho-education teachings, one-to-one therapy, personal training and nutrition advice from our trained professionals. 

The Programme was created to support and educate people to overcome their own personal difficulties.


Participants are selected from the community based on individual needs and their commitment to engage. 


We support at the person, not the problem., focusing on the individual and their personal needs to help them to overcome their personal issues.
